Main Aims

To establish a cohort of adults with 22q11 deletion syndrome and ascertain how many have Parkinson’s disease or a movement disorder.

To generate lymphoblast cell lines from a small number of adults with 22q11 deletion syndrome.

Inclusion Criteria
  • Aged 18 or over.
  • Diagnosis of 22q11 deletion.
  • Mentally competent to give informed consent.
Exclusion Criteria
  • Aged under 18.
  • Diagnosis of 22q11 deletion not confirmed.
  • Not mentally competent to give informed consent.
