Dr Andrew Morris has been a consultant in paediatric metabolic medicine since 1996. He moved to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in 2003, having previously been a consultant in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. He manages patients with all inborn errors of metabolism except lysosomal disorders. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the University of Manchester and his main research interests are mitochondrial disorders and fatty acid oxidation disorders. He is actively involved in teaching, at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.
